Devi AI Revieweleven platforms, bought one line at a time
Devi AI is a Chrome extension for finding leads in social conversations — and unusually, in Facebook groups you belong to rather than administer. It classifies every post with ChatGPT for buying intent, complaints and spam, drafts a reply in one click, and generates and schedules content on top. This review is based entirely on what Devi publishes on its own pages, render-checked on 28 August 2026. We sell a competing product, and the scorecard says so.

The short version
A genuinely different architecture, with a pricing model that rewards knowing exactly what you want
Devi AI, published by Devi AI LLC of Sheridan, Wyoming, is a browser extension rather than a hosted service — its own terms of use define the Service as “the Devi AI Chrome Extension”. That is not a packaging detail. It is why Devi can read Facebook groups, public and private, that you are a member of without being an admin, which no server-side crawler can do, and it is why its privacy policy can say it does not store, access, view or transfer your social media data: matched posts are “temporarily cached in the browser” and deleted after 30 days.
What it does with those posts is what most tools in this category do, done competently. ChatGPT reads every matched post and labels it for buying intent, complaints, requests for information, promotional content and spam; a separate sentiment pass marks posts positive or negative; and a one-click drafted reply or direct message is generated for you to send from your own account. On top of that sits a second product most rivals do not have at all: an AI visual-content generator with a unified calendar that will write and schedule posts across your social channels.
The pricing is where Devi is most unusual and where a buyer should slow down. There are no tiers. Its pricing page is a configurator of eleven platform checkboxes and the total is composed from what you tick, the per-platform rate changes depending on whether Facebook is in the basket, and its terms state plainly that the rates themselves are set by your country. That model suits somebody who wants exactly one platform and is a poor fit for somebody comparing whole baskets, and no review can print one honest sticker price for it.
Devi AI at a glance
Every cell is from a Devi-owned page, render-checked on 28 August 2026 with the pricing configurator read in each of its states. The ParseStream column is included for context because we make a competing product; the alternative page argues the comparison, and this page assesses Devi on its own terms.

ParseStream's own two statements differ: its help centre offers a reviewed refund within 14 days of purchase, its terms of use say payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Devi's policy is the more generous.

Devi's price figures were rendered from an EU connection and are not universal; see the pricing section below. Anything Devi does not publish is recorded here as not published rather than as absent.
01
What Devi AI actually is
Most tools in this category are server-side crawlers with a web dashboard. Devi is not one. Its terms of use open by defining the product in a single sentence — “The ‘Service’ in these Terms refers to the Devi AI Chrome Extension, crafted to save time and enhance productivity for users while browsing social media” — and every install path on the site leads to the Chrome Web Store rather than to a signup form for a hosted app.
That architecture explains the product. A crawler cannot see inside a private Facebook group, because the content is not public and no API exposes it; an extension running in the browser of somebody who is already a member can. Devi's homepage makes exactly that claim — “Devi can monitor any group public or private you are part of” — and adds that no admin rights are required, which is the distinction most Facebook-monitoring tools have to concede. Its FAQ goes further and says the same design is why it is not scraping: “Devi AI monitors private Facebook groups without scraping it.”
It also explains the data story, which is unusually strong for this category and worth taking seriously. The privacy policy states, in capitals, “We do not STORE, ACCESS, VIEW, TRANSFER your Social media data in any form”, and describes the posts it matches as “temporarily cached in the browser … automatically deleted after 30 days”. What does sit on Devi's servers is named: account details in MongoDB, the keywords you add, plus Stripe for billing, GetGist for support and Microsoft Clarity for usage metrics, each listed with its processing location and data-processing agreement. For a buyer whose objection to social listening is that a vendor ends up with a copy of their customers' conversations, this is a direct answer rather than a reassurance.
The company is Devi AI LLC, at Ste 1200, 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, Wyoming, with a US support number and a support@ddevi.com address. Every page carries a “Patent Pending” badge; its FAQ explains it as an application in progress “for monitoring Facebook groups and other social posts using browser extension”. We report that as what it is and draw no conclusion from it.
02
The pricing configurator, and why no review can quote one price
Devi has no plans. Its pricing page renders a Monthly card and a Yearly card, each holding eleven checkboxes — one per platform — and the price on the subscribe button is composed from whichever boxes are ticked. The page loads with Facebook Groups ticked and nothing else.
Two mechanics make a single reading of that page unreliable. The first is that the per-platform rate is conditional: the card is captioned “Select Facebook and get 50% off on other platforms”, and with Facebook ticked each other platform showed €7.7 on our render, while unticking Facebook repriced all ten of them to €16.3 with no page reload. A one-pass dump of the page reports the discounted number as if it were the price. The second is that the discount is not simply per-item: four platforms at €16.3 each did not total €65.2 on the button but €50.6, so a further rule applies that Devi does not publish. Every figure in this review was read off Devi's own subscribe button after clicking the relevant boxes, and nothing was derived by multiplication.
Underneath both sits the fact that decides how you read any of it. Section 3 of Devi's terms of use states: “Pricing is based on your geographical location, determined by your IP address, business location, or phone number's country code.” The pricing page's own data payload names the country it priced for. So the numbers below are what a buyer on an EU connection saw on 28 August 2026, and a buyer elsewhere will see something else. Three other figures are live on Devi's own pages at the same time. Its homepage FAQ — repeated verbatim on its Reddit, LinkedIn and X landing pages — says Devi will watch “for as low as $19/month (GeoBased) which means $0.11 cent/hour”, and the parenthesis there is Devi's rather than ours. Its pricing page's meta description carries the same headline figure without it: “As low as $19/month to get access to social media keyword monitoring, content generation and scheduling.” And its structured data carries an offer of $49.00. None of them is wrong. They are for different readers.
The commercial terms around the price are good and are worth stating. The monthly plan carries a 10-day trial for a $1 setup fee, with a reminder seven days before it ends. The annual plan has no trial, is charged up front, and is described as two months free. Against that sits an “Anytime Refund” policy that is genuinely generous by the standards of this category: cancel a monthly subscription and the current month is refunded; cancel an annual one and the current plus all remaining months are refunded, calculated at the full monthly rate rather than the discounted annual one. Free access is offered to climate and human-rights non-profits on request.
Rendered from an EU connection, read off the subscribe button: any single non-Facebook platform €16.3/mo · Reddit and Quora together €32.6 · Reddit with X, LinkedIn and Quora €50.6 · Facebook Groups alone €42.0 · Facebook Groups with Reddit €49.8 · Facebook with Reddit, X, LinkedIn and Quora €72.9 · all eleven €85.0. Annual for Facebook Groups €420.5.
Single-channel buyers are pointed at a sales conversation rather than the configurator — “Do you want to monitor one channel only? … Chat with us” — even though the configurator itself accepts a single selection.
Two FAQ answers still describe plan names, Solo and Startup, with 250 and 1,000 included ChatGPT calls, that no longer appear anywhere on the pricing page.
03
Coverage, and the four different lists Devi publishes
The buyable list is the configurator's, and it has eleven entries: Facebook Groups, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Nextdoor, Quora, YouTube, WhatsApp Groups, Bluesky, Telegram and Threads. Each is a separate purchase. That is a wide list by the standards of this category, and the long tail of it — Nextdoor, WhatsApp, Telegram, Threads — is close to unique; very few competitors sell any of the four.
Devi's other surfaces disagree with that list and with each other. Its homepage FAQ answers “Which social media Devi monitor for keywords alerts?” with six: “Facebook groups (public and private both), LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, Global newspapers, Website blogs” — a list that adds two sources the configurator does not sell and omits seven it does: Nextdoor, Quora, YouTube, WhatsApp Groups, Bluesky, Telegram and Threads. Its features page names four: “Monitor Facebook groups, Reddit, Twitter and linkedin”. Its compliance statement at the foot of the homepage names eight. There is no documentation site to arbitrate. We cite the configurator because it is the surface that takes payment, and we draw no further conclusion — marketing pages age at different rates and this is what that looks like from outside.
Hacker News appears on none of them. Grepping Devi's rendered pages for both “Hacker News” and “hackernews” returns nothing, and it is absent from the configurator, so it is a published absence rather than an unstated one.
The per-platform depth is metered rather than open-ended, and the unit is a group. The monthly card sells “Monitor LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp & Reddit (25 Groups)” and adds “For 25+ Facebook groups, WhatsApp Groups or Subreddit chat with us”; the FAQ prices the overflow at $2 per additional group across Facebook, WhatsApp, Reddit and Telegram. For Facebook that model is the only one available — closed groups have no site-wide index — and 25 is a reasonable starting allowance for a small business. For Reddit it means naming your communities up front and paying per line beyond the first 25. A second FAQ answer describes Reddit, LinkedIn and X monitoring as covering “the global posts relevant to location and/or close network”, which points at something broader; both statements are published and we report both rather than choosing.
04
The AI layer: classification, sentiment and metered calls
Devi's classification is described consistently across its pages, which is more than several rivals manage. The homepage's section headed “ChatGPT Reads Every Post, So You Don't Have To” lists three outcomes — detect buying intent, flag complaints, eliminate spam — and its FAQ gives the full set: the model reads each post and detects “Buying Intent, Complaints, Seeking Information about your busiess, and Promotional and Spam posts”. Its features page adds a sentiment pass that labels posts positive or negative, and a set of outreach statistics covering “potential leads worth, leads reached, top communities, and saved posts”.
That is a fuller triage stack than the category average, and two parts of it have no ParseStream equivalent at all. We do not do sentiment analysis, and we do no post-reply outcome tracking of any kind. What Devi does not publish is a numeric score, a threshold, or any statement of what happens to a post that sits between categories — its classification is a set of labels rather than a grade, so there is no equivalent of “show me everything above a 3” to reason about before you buy.
The reply layer is one click and it is included: “1-click ChatGPT generated reply” and “1-click Comment/Direct Message to close leads”, with customisable prompts, your business contact details injected, and a model switch listing ChatGPT, Bard and Claude with Gemini marked “soon”. What is metered is the model underneath it. Each plan includes 1,000 ChatGPT API calls, and beyond that Devi asks you to top up your account or add your own OpenAI API key. That is unusually transparent — most vendors bury LLM cost in the subscription — but it is a second thing to budget and a second account to hold, and it means the effective cost of a heavy reply month is not knowable from the pricing page.
Devi drafts and you send. Nothing on its site describes posting without a human, and its compliance statement is explicit that the tool “is not designed for data scraping, generating fake engagement, or any other activity that breaches the rules of social media platforms”. That is the same position ParseStream holds, and it is worth publishing as agreement rather than dressing it up as a difference.
05
How alerts reach you, and how fast
Alert frequency is published on the features page, under a heading reading “Get real-time alerts”, and the sentence beneath it is the specific claim: “Devi sends you keyword alerts as often as you want (every 2 hours, daily or weekly) to reach out to potential leads at the best time.” Two hours is the fastest option Devi publishes anywhere, and it is not tier-gated — the configurator sells platforms, not speeds, so every buyer gets the same three choices. For a Facebook group where a question sits open for days, that is entirely adequate. For a fast subreddit or a Hacker News thread, it is a real constraint, and it is the clearest gap between Devi and the hourly-or-faster end of this category.
Delivery is a dashboard, email and an outbound webhook. The webhook is documented in the FAQ — “Please go to Settings > Webhook in your Devi extension to add it” — with a condition attached that the user agrees not to transfer data out of their own computer to third-party servers without the platform's permission, which is consistent with the rest of its data posture. Slack does not appear anywhere on Devi's site; if your team lives in a Slack channel, that is plumbing you would build yourself off the webhook.
Retention is stated once, in the privacy policy, and it applies to the browser cache rather than to a server-side archive: matched posts are “automatically deleted after 30 days”. The homepage FAQ describes the same cache as deleted “shortly”, which is vaguer; the privacy policy is the dated legal document and is the one we cite. There is no published statement about history beyond that window, about export, or about any uptime or service-level commitment.
One question we could not answer from any Devi page, and it is the first one a careful buyer will ask about an extension: whether monitoring continues while the browser is closed. The homepage says Devi “will watch for you 24*7”, and its FAQ says tracking is automatic with a start/stop control, but nothing states what happens when Chrome is not running. That is not published, which is different from absent — ask them before buying if it matters to you.
06
Where Devi's own pages disagree with each other
None of what follows is evidence of bad faith and none of it is presented that way. It is what a site with several years of pages behind it looks like when you read all of them in one sitting, and it matters only because a buyer comparing tools will land on one page rather than all of them.
The platform count appears four ways: eleven on the configurator and the hero strip, eight in the compliance paragraph, six in the homepage FAQ, four on the features page. The trial appears two ways: 10 days for a $1 setup fee on the pricing page, in the pricing FAQ and in the terms of use, against “7 days free trial, 30 days money back guarantee” on the get-the-extension page. The price appears three ways, but that one is explained by the geography rule in its own terms rather than by drift.
Two smaller ones. The pricing FAQ still refers to plans called Solo and Startup with 250 and 1,000 included ChatGPT calls, neither of which is a purchasable plan on the current configurator. And the platform landing pages in the sitemap — the Reddit one, the LinkedIn one, the X one — render the homepage's copy unchanged, so there is no Reddit-specific documentation to read even though a Reddit-specific URL exists.
The dates help explain it. The terms of use are stamped 22 March 2024 and the privacy policy 9 January 2024, while ten of the sitemap's 72 URLs carry the current day and the footer reads 2026. The legal pages are the older documents and they are also the most precise ones on the site — the geography rule, the trial mechanics and the individual-use account rule are all only stated there. Read them before the marketing pages, not after.
Devi AI: strengths and limitations
Based only on what Devi publishes on its own pages, render-checked on 28 August 2026. We have not audited the signed-in product or installed the extension.
What worked well
Reads Facebook groups you belong to, public and private, without admin rights — something no server-side monitoring tool can do.
Eleven purchasable platforms including Nextdoor, WhatsApp groups, Telegram, Threads and Bluesky, four of which almost no competitor sells.
A genuine privacy position, stated in its own policy: it does not store, access, view or transfer social media data, and matched posts are cached in your browser.
Buys by the platform rather than by the tier, which is cheaper than a bundled plan if you want exactly one channel.
Buying intent, complaint, information-seeking, promotional and spam classification, plus a separate sentiment pass and outreach statistics.
One-click drafted comments and direct messages with customisable prompts, your contact details injected, and a choice of underlying model.
An AI visual-content generator with a unified calendar and one-click scheduling, which is a second product most rivals do not have at all.
A 10-day trial for $1 with a reminder seven days before it ends, and an Anytime Refund policy covering the current month and, on annual, all remaining months.
Outbound webhooks documented in the FAQ, plus white-label resale for agencies and free access for qualifying non-profits.
Its data-processor list names each vendor, its purpose, its processing location and its data-processing agreement — more disclosure than most of this category publishes.
Where it fell short
No single price exists: its terms set rates by the buyer's country, so the number you see depends on where you are.
The per-platform rate is conditional — unticking Facebook Groups roughly doubles every other platform's line on the same page.
The fastest published alert frequency is every 2 hours, with daily and weekly the other options.
Reddit is metered as 25 groups on the base subscription by its pricing card, with additional communities at $2 each and over 25 handled by a sales conversation — though a separate FAQ answer describes broader automatic Reddit monitoring.
No Hacker News, on any surface, at any price.
Slack is not published anywhere; delivery beyond email and the dashboard means building on the webhook yourself.
Accounts are individual by its own terms, so a team buys one subscription per person rather than seats on one plan.
Four different platform counts and two different trial descriptions are live across its own pages at once.
Whether monitoring continues while the browser is closed is not stated anywhere, which is the first question an extension raises.
Beyond 1,000 included ChatGPT calls you top up or supply your own OpenAI key, so a heavy month's real cost is not knowable from the pricing page.
Its terms of use and privacy policy were last updated in 2024, and the pricing FAQ still names plans that no longer exist.
Embeds a self-reported 4.8 aggregate rating in its own structured data, which is not an independent review score.
ParseStream's scorecard for Devi AI
Our editorial assessment, scored only on what Devi publishes on its own pages as of August 2026.
Subject: Devi AI
Platform coverage
8/10
Eleven purchasable platforms, four of them — Nextdoor, WhatsApp, Telegram, Threads — that almost nobody else sells. Marked down only for the absence of Hacker News and for publishing four different lists.
Facebook groups
10/10
The best thing about the product and the reason the architecture exists. Public and private groups, no admin rights, and a published explanation of why that is not scraping. Nothing server-side competes here.
Detection speed
4/10
Every 2 hours, daily or weekly, with the two-hour option the fastest published anywhere on the site. Adequate for slow-moving groups, a real constraint on fast forums.
Lead triage and classification
7/10
Buying intent, complaints, information-seeking, promotional and spam, plus a sentiment pass and outreach statistics. Fuller than the category average, but published as labels rather than as a score with a threshold you can reason about.
Reply workflow
8/10
One-click drafted comment or direct message with customisable prompts, injected contact details and a model switch. You send it yourself, from your own account, which is the right default.
Pricing transparency
4/10
The configurator itself is legible, but the rates are set by the buyer's geography, the per-platform price changes with what else is ticked, one combination could not be reproduced by arithmetic, and three different figures are live across its own pages.
Value for money
7/10
Strong if you want one channel or if Facebook groups are the channel — nothing else reaches them. Weaker if you are assembling four or five platforms, where the basket climbs and the cadence does not improve.
Delivery and collaboration
5/10
Dashboard, email and a documented webhook, but no Slack and no shared seats: its terms make accounts individual and a team buys one subscription per person.
Privacy and data posture
9/10
Among the strongest in this category. An explicit statement that it does not store social media data, browser-side caching with a 30-day deletion, and a fully enumerated data-processor list with locations and agreements.
Documentation and disclosure
5/10
No documentation site, platform landing pages that repeat the homepage, four conflicting platform counts, two trial descriptions, legal pages last updated in 2024, and no statement on whether monitoring survives a closed browser.
Posting model and platform safety
9/10
Drafts only, sent by you in one click from your own account, with a published compliance statement rejecting scraping and fake engagement. The same position we hold.
This scorecard is ParseStream's own editorial opinion of a competing product, not a measured benchmark and not an aggregate of user reviews. We sell an alternative, so read it with that in mind. Scores are based only on what Devi AI publishes on its own pages, render-checked on 28 August 2026 — we have not installed the extension or audited the signed-in product, and anything it does not publish is scored as unknown rather than absent. We were not able to render-verify any independent third-party review score: the 4.8 rating from 2,852 ratings that appears on Devi's pages is embedded in Devi's own structured data about itself rather than sourced from a review platform, and its Chrome Web Store listing could not be reached at all — from our connection it redirects to a Google cookie-consent interstitial that returns a 200 with the title “Before you continue” and could not be cleared. Devi's self-reported customer and lead counts, its engagement-uplift figure and its testimonials are not used as evidence anywhere here.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Devi AI?
Devi AI is a Chrome extension from Devi AI LLC, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, that monitors keywords across eleven social platforms and flags posts that look like leads. Its own terms of use define the product as “the Devi AI Chrome Extension”, which is what lets it read Facebook groups you belong to — public or private, without admin rights — as well as Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Quora, Nextdoor, YouTube, WhatsApp groups, Bluesky, Threads and Telegram. ChatGPT classifies each match for buying intent, complaints, information-seeking, promotional content and spam, and a one-click drafted reply or direct message is generated for you to send.
How much does Devi AI cost?
Devi has no plans — its pricing page is a configurator of eleven platform checkboxes and the total is composed from what you tick. It also has no single price: its terms state that “Pricing is based on your geographical location, determined by your IP address, business location, or phone number's country code.” Rendered from an EU connection on 28 August 2026, a single non-Facebook platform was €16.3/mo, Facebook Groups €42.0/mo, four platforms €50.6/mo and all eleven €85.0/mo. Its homepage FAQ says “as low as $19/month (GeoBased)”, its pricing page's meta description repeats the $19 figure without that parenthesis, and its structured data carries a $49.00 offer. Open its pricing page from your own connection before budgeting.
Does Devi AI have a free trial?
It has a paid trial. The monthly plan carries a 10-day trial for a $1 setup fee, with a reminder seven days before it ends; the annual plan has no trial and is charged up front. Both are covered by an Anytime Refund policy, which refunds the current month on monthly and the current plus all remaining months on annual, calculated at the full monthly rate. One older Devi page still advertises “7 days free trial, 30 days money back guarantee” — the pricing page and the terms of use both say 10 days for $1, and those are the surfaces that take payment.
Which platforms does Devi AI monitor?
Its pricing configurator sells eleven, individually: Facebook Groups, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Nextdoor, Quora, YouTube, WhatsApp Groups, Bluesky, Telegram and Threads. Three other Devi pages publish different lists — six in the homepage FAQ, eight in the compliance statement, four on the features page — and there is no documentation site to arbitrate, so we cite the configurator because it is what you can actually buy. Hacker News does not appear on any of them.
How much of Reddit does Devi AI monitor?
It is metered by group. Devi's monthly plan card sells “Monitor LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp & Reddit (25 Groups)”, its FAQ prices additional groups at $2 each across Facebook, WhatsApp, Reddit and Telegram, and a line on the same card asks you to contact them for more than 25 subreddits. A separate FAQ answer describes Reddit, LinkedIn and X monitoring as covering “the global posts relevant to location and/or close network”, which points at something broader; both statements are published on Devi's own pages and we report both rather than choosing between them.
Does Devi AI post replies for you?
No — it drafts and you send. Its FAQ describes “1-click outreach draft comment and message generation using builtin ChatGPT”, and its pricing card sells “1-click ChatGPT generated reply” and “1-click Comment/Direct Message to close leads”: one click by you, from the extension, using your own account. Its compliance statement says the tool “is not designed for data scraping, generating fake engagement, or any other activity that breaches the rules of social media platforms”. ParseStream takes the same position, and auto-posting is disabled server-side on our side.
Is Devi AI safe with my data?
Its published position is unusually strong for this category, and it follows from the architecture. The privacy policy states “We do not STORE, ACCESS, VIEW, TRANSFER your Social media data in any form”, and describes matched posts as “temporarily cached in the browser … automatically deleted after 30 days”. What Devi's servers hold is named: account details in MongoDB, plus the keywords you add, with Stripe, GetGist and Microsoft Clarity listed as processors with their locations and agreements. We have not audited any of that — we are reporting what Devi publishes — and the policy itself was last updated in January 2024.
Who is Devi AI best for, and who should look elsewhere?
It is the clear choice if your customers talk in Facebook groups, or if you need Nextdoor, WhatsApp, Telegram, Threads or Bluesky, or if you want monitoring and content scheduling in one tool, or if you would rather no vendor held a copy of your customers' posts. Look elsewhere if you need Hacker News, if you want alerts faster than every two hours, if you need Reddit searched site-wide rather than across a list of 25 communities, if your team needs shared seats on one subscription, or if you want a single published price that does not depend on where you are.
ParseStream watches Reddit, Quora, Hacker News, LinkedIn and X, re-checks every keyword hourly on every plan, searches Reddit site-wide with no per-community allowance to buy, and drafts a reply you post from your own account. Reddit and Hacker News from $29; all five platforms from $79.
